Great ceramics. Rijnsburg.
A handmade bowl and a factory bowl can hold the same soup. Only one of them was touched by the person who made it.
Great Ceramics is the work of Greetje Lubbers, who throws, moulds, and glazes everything herself in her studio in Rijnsburg, between Leiden and Noordwijk in the Netherlands. Tableware, lighting, and accessories — made in small series or as unique pieces, with no large stock and much of it made to order.
The small differences between one piece and the next are not flaws. They are the evidence of the hand. Nothing here was shipped wrapped in plastic.
