Deirdre Nagayama and Stacy Rodgers founded Curator in 2005, motivated by their mutual love of clothing and working together. Curator is a small-batch clothing company that proudly partners with three factories in the Bay Area of San Francisco. Deirdre and Stacy ensure their partners pay fair wages and provide safe working conditions to their employees. The majority of the factories they partner with are family-run, more so even, women-run. Curator proudly cuts and sews each garment in California and currently makes 90% of their clothing range at factories that are within a 20 minute drive of their headquarters. Curator partners with reputable American mills that focus on ethical and sustainable textile practices. Deirdre and Stacy use low-impact dyes on all of their fabrics and they wear-test our garments to make sure they hold up to your lives.  Before any fabric lands in your hands, it has gone through extensive testing.
