Most clothing is cut to a standard and made to be replaced. Megan Lagueruela works the other way around.
She designs and makes artful, relaxed garments by hand in North Carolina, from natural fibres — linen, cotton, silk, hemp — much of it handwoven, and cut to a zero-waste pattern that uses the whole cloth. Forgiving silhouettes built for movement and a life well lived, with custom sizing offered as a matter of course.
These are clothes made to drape, soften, and last — art you can live in, made by the person whose name is on them.
